Fantasy LEC Spring Week 7 Picks

Whether you are playing to win the F2P Cup, 1v1 Challenge, or taking on a Squad Battle, we all are after the W. We may even make some money on the way. So let’s take a look and see which players should be in your quarantine bubble and which players you should socially distance from this week.

  • SLEEPER: A medium-to-low priced player that is set up well to shock the world (in a good way)
  • BREAKOUT: A player that is poised to drastically outperform their price, whatever it may be
  • BUST: A medium-to-high priced player that will fail to return value on their price

Top Lane

SLEEPER: WhiteKnight – Astralis $190,000 (vs MSF & S04)

WhiteKnight must be licking his lips right now. In terms of fantasy points per game given up to Top Laners, he has the 2 best matchups in the LEC. He has displayed some upside lately, with 2 of his last 3 games being 23+ points, so this is excited as you can get about a sub $200k option.

bwipo fnatic

BREAKOUT: Bwipo – Fnatic $260,000 (vs XL & SK)

Because right when you give up on Bwipo… that is when he gets his act together. I have no actual analysis here, because actual analysis on Bwipo is useless.

Odoamne Schalke 04

BUST: Odoamne – Rogue $250,000 (vs G2 & MAD)

Finally he got some Kills last week! His last 4 games have been slightly encouraging, but they were also against the bottom 4 teams in the LEC. As the competition stiffens, I expect his Kill number to stay low.

Razork Misfits

SLEEPER: Razork – Misfits $220,000 (vs AST & G2)

“Ah man, idk about Razork, there is no way MSF can beat G2.” Yes, I agree. But do you know how many points scored against G2 in their first game? 42.5!!

BREAKOUT: TynX – SK Gaming $290,000 (vs VIT & FNC)

Another case of the breakout already happening, but people yet to fully buy into it. In SK’s current 5 game win streak, TynX has scored 20+ in every game, 4 of which he got 10+ Assists. He is the heart of this thriving SK team.

inspired Rogue

BUST: Inspired – Rogue $290,000 (vs G2 MAD)

It is very hard for Inspired to return full $290k value if he doesn’t win both games. He isn’t quite the ‘make your week in 1 game guy,’ so you will be rooting for an RGE upset over G2 if you are picking Inspired.

LoL Mid Lane Icon

Mid Lane

SLEEPER: MagiFelix – Astralis $260,000 (vs MSF & S04)

With 2 of the best 3 matchups for Mid Laners on the slate this week, MagiFelix is primed to pop off. Clearly, his Tristana won’t get the job done, but he has a 50+ point upside if he can stick to his Corki. Big value at a position that is tough to save money at.

BREAKOUT: Blue – SK Gaming $270,000 (vs VIT & FNC)

Eventually the price will catch up to the production as we see a bigger and bigger sample size, however, he is still underpriced this week. Pick this breakout before his price also breaks out.

nisqy cloud9

BUST: Nisqy – Fnatic $300,000 (vs XL & SK)

You want me to pay $300k for a Mid that hasn’t been able to get 5 Kills in any of his last 7 games? Has as many 30+ point games as < 5 point games in that span? No thanks.

Crownshot SK Gaming

SLEEPER: Crownshot – Team Vitality $250,000 (vs SK & XL)

One thing is extremely clear when you watch Vitality play; they are dedicated to winning through Crownie. They funnel EVERYTHING into him in hopes of him 1v9ing the late game. It hasn’t worked, but they now have their easiest game of the season this week with XL limping into town.

BREAKOUT: Jezu – SK Gaming $280,000 (vs VIT & FNC)

People want to give massive credit to every player on SK gaming for their win streak, except Jezu! He is by far talked about the least of any member, even though he has scored 30+ points in each of his last 5 games. Throw some respect on the name!

Neon Schalke

BUST: Neon – FC Schalke 04 $240,000 (vs MAD & AST)

It has been a rough stretch for all of S04, but especially for Neon. It is made even worse by the fact that he is sacrificing his farm and early game strength to play Senna lately. Not a lot to be optimistic about here.

LoL Support Icon

Vander Rogue Headshot

SLEEPER: Vander – Misfits $80,000 (vs AST & G2)

Vander has scored 12+ points in 5 of his last 6 games, despite 2 of the games being losses. He is also 3rd at the position in Points in Wins with 21.7. Oh, but he isn’t even one of the 5 most expensive options. Fire him up.

kaiser mad lions

BREAKOUT: Kaiser – Mad Lions $100,000 (vs S04 & RGE)

We are all wishing for vintage Kaiser to come back. He was one of the two most expensive Support each week, but he has seen his price fluctuate a lot this split. However, you look at his game log and see 17+ points in 4 of his last 5, and you see hope he can get back to Stud status.

tore excel

BUST: Tore – Excel Esports $60,000 (vs FNC & VIT)

Nobody is taking this 5 game losing streak harder than Tore. I don’t care what the price is, if you are just hoping that his point total stays positive, then you can’t pick him.

Vitality Logo

SLEEPER: Team Vitality $160,000 (vs SK & XL)

Not every day that you get to name the last place team as a value. But it is also not every day that last place team faces a team on a 5 game losing streak. VIT can give value by just beating XL, with the ability to be competitive against SK helping you win your week.

Sk Gaming Logo

BREAKOUT: SK Gaming $250,000 (vs VIT & FNC)

Another week, another price increase for SK Gaming. They are looking to extend their 5 game win streak to 7 this week and find Fnatic at the right time to do so.

Rogue Logo

BUST: Rogue $270,000 (vs G2 & MAD)

You may not have noticed, but Rogue Team hasn’t scored more than 30 fantasy points in a single game this split. G2 has in 4 of their last 6. Rogue made their living on 30+ point games last season, so now they are only valuable when they have a 2-0 lock schedule.
