Let’s get right down to business. Whether you are playing to win the F2P Cup, 1v1 Challenge, or taking on a Squad Battle, we all are after the W. We can even make some money on the way. So let’s take a look and see which players can be the biggest value, and who is most deserving of your Captain Crown.
fNB – Vorax $270,000 (vs RED)
I know he had the week off last week, but let’s not forget that he was the hottest Top Laner in Brazil at the end of the regular season. In VRX’s last 6 wins, he only failed to score 24 points on 1 occassion, all topped off with his 12 Kills, 50.2 point performance on Sylas. Beastly.
Cariok – paiN Gaming $260,000 (vs FLA)
Not only does Cariok have the highest Points per Win among all remaining Junglers, he also has the most momentum behind him. He was the reason PNG beat Loud last week, as he averaged 27.8 points per games in the wins, with KP > 75% in each one. PNG needs him, and they play like it.
Krastymel – Vorax $280,000 (vs RED)
Krastymel is the perfect combination of safety and upside. I mean, you have to go back all the way to January 17th to find a game in which he failed to score at least 17 points. So 51 points is the floor across 3 games, with 37+ point games being the upside, a number he got to in 3 of his last 5 games.
TitaN – RED Canids $300,000 (vs VRX)
In his 4 games series win last week, TitaN averaged 7 Kills per game. Also, he only died 7 times across all 4 games, incredible including the fact that one game was a loss. People may only remember his 12 Kills Kaisa game, but he was an absolute force in every game.
RedBert – Flamengo Esports $120,000 (vs PNG)
RedBert reminds me of a dominant Big Man in the NBA that gets a double double every game. You look at RedBert’s points in each game, and it is just so consistent. He struggled in 2 of the team’s last 3 games, failing to reach 10 points, but the 15 straight games before that were all double digit numbers.
paiN Gaming $200,000 (vs FLA)
paiN and Flamengo actually played each other in the 2nd last week of the regular season. Remember who won that one? Yep, it was paiN. So you are able to pick the cheapest team, biggest underdog, while still knowing they beat their opponent in the most recent match. That sounds like a risk I want to take.
Best Overall Captain: FLA Absolut: Kaisa & Aphelios
It is never a dumb move to go with the most powerful position on the most powerful team as your Captain. Absolut has been all about Kaisa & Aphelios lately, which I don’t expect to change now that playoffs started. Follow the match history for the Champs and trust that the winning situation can bring the points.
Risky Captain: RED TitaN: Kaisa & Senna
You just read about how unstoppable TitaN has been lately, so it makes sense he is a Captain candidate as well. He brings more risk as his team is unfavored to win, but that also bring a lot more upside if the upset was the happen. We all know he wants Kaisa, but he has shown he will settle for Senna when Kaisa gets banned.
